3D site maps and barrier-free routes

The AddNavi deployment team prepares the site map from the site’s plans, with a site visit where needed. Visitors see it in 2D or 3D, with floors, passages and landmarks.

Routes across floors and buildings

The route uses lifts or stairs and leads between buildings and across outdoor grounds. Directions refer to landmarks along the way, such as neighbouring rooms or stands.

  • 2D and 3D views with floor switching
  • A photorealistic model for selected sites
  • A closed passage or lift can be excluded from routing during works

Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA

The application meets WCAG 2.2 at level AA. The kiosk’s accessibility mode plans step-free routes, moves the controls within reach of a wheelchair user, and enlarges text and contrast. Depending on the model and equipment, the kiosk also has:

  • Voice guidance and an induction loop
  • A link to a Polish Sign Language interpreter
  • Control with a keypad or physical buttons
A hospital directional sign with one direction covered by a paper note with an arrow

A map that keeps up with changes

Layout changes are reported to the AddNavi deployment team, which updates the map. Administrators change descriptions, opening hours and people themselves in the panel. A relocated clinic or a new tenant appears in the routes without replacing signs.
